The Practices of Our Faith is an experience that will challenge and strengthen you. If you are ready for the next step beyond the surface and into building a faith that is real and unshakable, we hope you will join us because we think this journey is for you.

WHO:
This class is designed for all adults who want to challenge their faith and especially those who want to become grounded in biblical principles.
HOW:
You will receive a workbook, created by the Rooted curriculum, which will guide you through daily readings that compliment our weekly gathering. During our time together, we will guide you through a discussion based on your readings. Together, we will also participate in a Prayer Experience and a Serving Experience.
PRICE:
The cost of rooted is $20. However, if you commit to this 10 week journey, the church will pay your way.

THE PRACTICES OF OUR FAITH is a 10 week experience with a small group of people who are on a journey to deepen their faith together. Each person receives a book called Rooted, that includes daily readings. Your reading becomes the foundation for your small group discussion. It is a place to ask your honest questions about faith in an environment that is safe and non judgmental. Beyond discussion, the group has two "experiences." There is a Prayer Experience and a Serving Experience.
Here is a list of the topics that will be discussed:
What is rooted?
Who is God?
How does God speak to us?
Where is God in the midst of suffering?
There is an enemy
How can I make the most of my life?
How does God view money?
Why and how should I tell others?
Why is the church important?
These important topics are learned through practicing the 7 rhthms of a follower of Jesus. Those 7 rhythms are: Scripture, Prayer, Repentance, Generosity, Serving, Sharing, and Worship.
