WHO IS THIS FOR? This class is for any adult who is ready to dig deep to build their faith and grow their spirituality. It is especially helpful for people new to the faith who want to become grounded in biblical principles. Anyone from those who are seeking out who God is to those who have known the Lord for a long time will benefit from this series.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT? Rooted is designed to deepen your faith and strengthen your relationship with God and others. Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll engage in daily Scripture reading, thought-provoking discussions, practical spiritual rhythms, and hands-on experiences like prayer, serving, and sharing your story. Rooted will challenge you to move beyond routine Christianity into a life of purpose, connection, and transformation. Expect to grow, be stretched, and walk away with a renewed passion for God and His calling on your life!
HOW MUCH DOES ROOTED COST? Rooted costs about $20 a person. However, if you commit yourself to this study, the church will pay your way. You will receive a book that includes daily devotions and a journal in it. The book is available at your first Rooted gathering.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS? If you have kids in Middle School and High School, Forward Youth is meeting at the same time as this class. Currently, there is no other childcare available. If you need childcare, let us know as early as you can and we will try to work something out. It is our hope that there is nothing that stands in your way to coming to this class.
WHO IS THE TEACHER? Tolu Otene-Alabi will guide you through the book as you discover the 7 rhythms of Rooted which are: Daily Devotions, Prayer, Repentance, Sacrificial Generosity, Serve the Community, Share Your Story and Worship.
